Sending a Clear Message to the State Board of Education


 

Yesterday, community leaders – as well as “Thomas Jefferson” – joined me in San Antonio to urge State Board of Education members to prioritize our children’s education ahead of their personal ideological agendas. Here’s what the Express-News said about our efforts, and you can watch TV coverage here and here.

Thanks to the 1,800 people who signed our petition, we are delivering a clear message that Texans are tired of the State Board playing games with our children's education. If you are in Austin and want to help reinforce that message, remember to stop by the rally today at 1:00.
